Discovery Statement
After one week of monitoring my time, I discovered that I'm getting better at managing my time and being productive with my time. I want to spend more time on studying and spend less time on procrastinating and doing some of my assignments. But I was surprised that I spent so much time on doing my homework's and writing papers. I was also surprised that I spent so little time on studying and looking over the work I done. I had strong feelings about my use of time, when I was doing my english papers a week ahead and I felt relaxed because I had days to revise and edit the paper to make sure it was a perfect paper.

My plan..
My plan/system I use to present my self-management system is fairly simply and easy. When I do my homework, I usually do the easiest out of them all or the one I find most fun and interesting to do. I prepare for my test/exams as soon as the prof. gives me a heads up about a test/exam coming up, that's when I start preparing myself and look over my notes. I always attend all my classes and try to not miss a day. So far I had conferences with my English Prof. since he always ends class early to hold conferences with any one in the class, that would like to have a word with him or anything. I do not work, so I have a lot of free time on my own for school work and my social life which I find great.
I currently use this as my self-management system because I find it simple and organized in my own way. My system been working like a charm I done most of my HW assignments/major papers and handed them all in on time, my preparation for test/exams been great haven't failed an test or exam. I feel calm, relaxed, energized and focused using my plan of self-management. If any body has any other suggestion feel free to give me your 2cents and comments.

Studying Habits..
A conclusion about my studying habit and test taking habit is that I should improve on both of these habits. I learned that I rarely study or just study a day before an exam or test. Which is not good because sometimes I end up just cramming all my class notes from all my subjects and study all of them in a rush. Which I don't think is a good idea. I would like to pick up new habits of studying to improve my grades.
The changes I can make to improve my exam performance before the next exam is to set aside time to study at least everyday or every other day and not just study a day before an exam. Also review notes the same day they are given, also maybe make my own study sheet/guide for an exam. Any other suggestions of improvements on study habits will be greatly welcomed.

Personal Responsibility is key to becoming a successful student..
From today's activity about personal responsibility I learned that every choice you make has to be an important one. You will have no one to blame if you didn't do your homework, miss class, or simply didn't want to do your essay paper. Having personal responsibility is key to becoming a successful student because you can only depend on yourself and not anyone else. You have to be able to take on your own task. You are the only one responsible for actions. No one else is responsible but yourself. So take your personal responsibilities into your own hands and not into anothers hand.
Differences between High School and College
The transition from High School to College has a lot of differences..
- In college your more independent
- You get to make your own schedule in college
- In high school you had no options or choices to make your own schedule
- College is expensive, while high school was free
- Back in high school making friends with class mates were easier than here in college
